TMC works with courageous individuals and organizations who are ready to do what it necessary to address their organizational issues while attending to the present, respecting the past, and preparing for the future.
We love our work and we love our clients!

I just spent three days working on CLMA activities and traveling with Rob. He is such a pleasure to work with and our whole Exec Team agrees and appreciates the opportunity this engagement has afforded our association. Thank you again for your support.

Ann, I really appreciate the effort you put into analyzing information about the organization that assists the Board to understand the trends in the organization, gives us information that assists us to see if we are going in the right direction, and guides our decision making. I am also very impressed with the way in which you present information verbally to assist us as we move forward. I think you have laid a foundation that will make our job easier over the coming years, because we will feel more in the know about our day to day business. You excel as an Interim CEO! Thanks for all your work.
I have appreciated working with Ann. She is personable, she has integrity, and she gets things done.

I was fortunate enough to be asked to manage an organization that was being turned over from interim management by Transition Management Consulting. Jackie Eder-Van Hook was extremely helpful, competent and professional and helped make this transition a win-win for all concerned. Our firm, as well as the client, benefitted from her expertise. I would recommend her highly to any organization/association seeking the best in interim management.

Bob was professional, ethical, and understanding of our needs. He listened well when we expressed doubt, and explained his suggestions to help us better understand them. He helped us understand where we needed to go and how to get there.
TMC’s services absolutely exceeded our expectations; thank goodness, because that was what we desperately needed. He helped us understand the actual change process that would be required for our transition. We didn’t really know what to do to get where we needed to go, but he guided us through the realization that change was a much bigger process than we have imagined. When our Executive Director resigned, I was relieved but didn’t know what to do next. Hiring a change management specialist was the smartest thing I could have done. I will be eternally grateful for the recommendation to your firm.
He taught the Board what their duties and responsibilities really were and how to make better decisions. He helped focus us in so many ways. He helped us to realize that the Board’s ambitions were too big to accomplish in the time we expected it to happen. We had many things that needed to be taken care of before we could make good progress on our goals and narrow our vision and focus on a fewer number of big goals. Rob gave us hope in a time of desperate upheaval. This 53 year old organization needed to change to survive, but it hadn’t really changed much in those 50 years. He listened to our doubts, fears, and reassured us it would be okay.
When we hired Rob, we were nervous about paying so much for his services, but he turned out to be “worth his weight in gold.” I don’t know of any BoD member who would not agree with this assessment. Rob’s vast knowledge helped us to finally understand what a bad situation our organization was in (it was very stale and understaffed with poor technology and processes being used in the office and governance) and what was needed to transition into something that would meet the need of our members better.
If other boards of directors are anticipating an executive staff change, I’d give the following advice:
• You get what you pay for!
• Plan ahead and make sure you know what you want and where you want to go.
• Don’t hesitate to update your organization during the transition; it is working well for us.
• Be patient and ready to make the investment required to get excellent advice.
• When you get someone on board, listen to what they tell you so you have the benefit of their experience!
As President, Rob truly saved my sanity in a very chaotic year! I could not have been as successful without his sage advice, and he will always have a special place in my memories and heard!
Thanks so much for your professionalism.
