Pat Nichols leads and advises non-profit/non-governmental organizations through specific, strategic transitions, including turnarounds, start-ups, mergers, strategic redirections, reorganizations, etc.
Pat recently led a transition effort for The Campagna Center, the leading social services non-profit in Alexandria, Virginia. The Campagna Center, which has approximately 250 employees, is an innovative provider of youth services programs and of the Retired Senior Volunteers Program for Alexandria and enjoys extraordinary community support. Pat previously led an international trade association through a re-evaluation of its markets, the restructuring and relocation of its staff, and the replacement of its governance structure. Pat has also led the transitions of several national women’s organizations with memberships of 100,000 and 30,000, respectively. One of those organizations achieved the best performance in member retention and recruitment in some two decades, increased revenues 25% over a trend line and won a 60% dues increase from its members. The other exceeded 100% of its transition goals. Previously, Pat:
Pat has consulted with the World Bank, a program of USAID, and a variety of international development organizations, primarily on strategic management and governance issues. Pat previously served as Director of Marketing for Price Waterhouse, now Price WaterhouseCoopers and has provided marketing consulting to Fortune 500 companies.
Pat holds a Bachelors of Arts from Westminster College, in Fulton, Missouri, and studied Political Theory at St. Peter's College at Oxford University.
