Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) seeks a mid-career executive director with 7-10 years of demonstrated leadership experience with solid financial management skills, strong technological capabilities, and an ability to work in a collaborative manner with landscape architects and professional administrators. Critical skills include strong volunteer leadership and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree is required. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced degrees (post baccalaureate) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field, and those with experience in testing and certification or design environments.

CLARB, soon to be headquartered in Fairfax, Virginia, is a 501(c)(6) membership organization that provides professional examination for the licensing of landscape architects. Its members include state and provincial licensing regulators and professional landscape architects committed to the public's safety, health, and welfare. CLARB currently has a $ 2.5 million annual budget and a staff of 12.Â
