Bob works with both trade and professional associations, where he blends expertise in association management with skills in organization development and facilitation.
Bob is a highly skilled transition leader having completed interim executive assignments with over a dozen organizations: American Institute of Architects, Washington Center for Psychoanalysts, Council for Landscape Architectural Registration Boards, Association of State and Provincial Policy Boards, Center for American Nurses, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, American Nurses Credentialing Center, Society of Vascular Technology, and Society of Interventional Radiology. Bob was able to achieve very significant outcomes during these engagements,
Prior to co-founding Transition Management Consulting, Bob served as executive director for two national associations, where he established himself as an effective association manager and a national health policy leader. Bob has also led non-profit and governmental health care organizations at the local, state, and national levels.
A skilled communicator, Bob has appeared on "The Today Show" and "Good Morning America" and published numerous articles on health care, association management, and executive transitions.
Bob became a Certified Association Executive (CAE) in 1988, and selected as a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives in 2001, a designation conferred on some 300 association executives worldwide.
Bob earned a Masters degree in health administration (MSPH) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelors degree in American Studies from the University of South Florida.
