Council for Landscape Architectural Registration Boards
Selects Joel Albizo as New Executive Director
Joel D. Albizo, CAE joins the Council for Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) on July 15 as its Executive Director. Albizo is currently deputy executive director for the Society of Actuaries, a Chicago-based professional association. Albizo replaces Bob Van Hook, CAE of Transition Management Consulting, Inc. (TMC) who has served as interim executive director since August 2006, while the organization conducted a search for permanent leadership. Jackie Eder-Van Hook, who manages recruitment and consulting activities for TMC, conducted the search.
Albizo currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Association Leadership and has served as President of the Public Relations Society of America, National Capital Chapter.
